About this event

What happens on the day

This is the standard Data Carpentry curriculum, taught by certified instructors and pitched at people who write some code but have never been shown a workflow. No prior Git is assumed.

Carpentry covers Unix Shell, Version Control, setting up Git, handling conflicts and branches, and using Git from RStudio.

Places are capped at twenty-four so every participant gets helper time. Workshops run twice a year and fill quickly.
